Come and stay in Umhlanga. Umhlanga used to be a tiny intimate town on Kwazulu Natal's north coast. Over the last 25 odd years, it has grown into a major district.
The Umhlanga accommodation establishments and other North Coast accommodation service providers take my breath away. They commit to such service and high quality. Pictures are available of beautiful places to rest your head, how the decor will make your day, the effort undertaken to ensure that when you relax alongside the pool you are just at peace.
Umhlanga has grown to a serious force to be considered. Previously they were a quiet little town waiting anxiously for December to earn their income from local Johannesburgers, and then relax for the next 11 months of the year. All local businesses used to gear up for one month. Now business head quarters have relocated to Umhlanga and the world wants to know about this place. They have several major shopping centres, restaurants have spring up every where. There is now a whole world within Umhlanga and very often you think of North Coast accommodation, you think of Umhlanga accommodation. It is not surprising that Umhlanga has become a worldwide tourist attraction.
Amidst all these commercial developments, the area is still blessed with the beauty of the ocean. It is wild and unspoilt. Beautiful endless days of sunshine all year around. The odd wind might blow your hair out of place, but what's a visit to the ocean without some wind. At least it is fresh.
